Purchasing Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction materials, plant, and equipment based on project requirements.
• Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with site team to ensure materials are delivered on time and in correct quantities.
• Monitor stock levels and material usage to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Verify delivery orders and invoices against PO.
• Maintain proper purchasing records and documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and accounts for payment processing.
• Ensure purchases comply with project specifications and company policies.

Requirements

• SPM/ Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field.
