Purchasing Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
• Researching potential vendors
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Consolidates updated supplier records (supplier portfolio, contact information, and credit terms)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least two years of experience in a purchasing position (WITH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY)
• With knowledge or background in construction or concrete ready-mix
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing, and the ability to maintain vendor relationships
