We are an international trading company working in the scrap metal and recycling sector. We cooperate with suppliers across different regions and are currently expanding our sourcing activities in South Africa.

We are looking for a
Purchasing Assistant
based in
Durban
who will support supplier sourcing and local market operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search for and identify local scrap metal suppliers
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and yards
• Visit suppliers to
  check and inspect material
  (type, quality, volume)
• Collect photos, videos, and basic specifications of materials
• Assist in negotiating prices and commercial terms
• Monitor local market prices and availability
