Purchasing Associate

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management, Accountancy or related courses
• With at least 1 year experience in purchasing and inventory management;
• With good oral and verbal communication skills;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• With analytical and critical-thinking skills

Job Description:

• Monitor, control and facilitate food provisions requisitions from the vessel and ensure timely delivery in the most efficient and cost-effective manner;
• Monitor and evaluate victualing reports from all vessels; Submit reports to clients.
• Communicate with all concerned parties for the facilitation of provisions onboard;
• Carry out inventory inspection in case the vessel is in convenient port and as per request and approval of the client;
• Conduct pre-embarkation victualling management orientations to crew.
