Purchasing Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team at PML CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD'. In this full-time role based in Alor Setar, Kedah, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and procurement processes to support our construction operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and processing purchase orders for a wide range of materials, equipment and services
2. Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities and inventory levels
3. Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
4. Liaising with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs
5. Ensuring timely delivery of all purchased items to support construction timelines
6. Identifying opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and drive cost savings
7. Supporting the procurement team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
