Purchasing Coordinator

A leading apparel/uniform company is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support the Purchasing Department. This role works directly with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely ordering, vendor follow-up, and accurate communication of order status across departments. Responsibilities

• Run daily purchasing reports and place purchase orders according to company schedule
• Follow up on pending POs and back orders with vendors
• Coordinate with vendors on availability, lead times, and logistics
• Communicate order updates with Sales and Operations teams
• Assist with returns, debit orders, and vendor issue resolution
• Suggest alternative items when products are discontinued or unavailable
• Help maintain accurate purchasing records and inventory awareness
