Job Description
- Responsible for overall purchasing functions, particularly on the Direct Material to ensure materials are purchased in the most economical manner with the on-time delivery.
- Process order according to MRP and make sure that suppliers receive all of them.
- Follow up order confirmation and evaluate order confirmation.
- Handle the deviation from confirmed delivery times, quantity, and prices.
- Handle the deviation parts together with QC and warehouse department.
- Interface with suppliers on the day-to-day job to ensure the material supply and no interruption on material support to production
- Work with program manager and planner in shortage solutions.
- Maintain necessary information of material, such as price, lead time, etc. in the system.
- Work according to supervisor and manager instruction.
- Always strictly complied with Company’s management systems and regulations
