About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Executive to join the procurement team at GESTOWN CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD. This full-time position is based in Bintulu, Sarawak. As Purchasing Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of materials and services to support the company's construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Sourcing, negotiating and procuring materials, equipment and services from vendors and suppliers
• Preparing, reviewing and issuing purchase orders and contracts
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities
• Monitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborating with project teams to understand and anticipate procurement needs
