Purchasing Executive

About the role

As a Purchasing Executive for Silver Maxlink Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the company's retail and consumer products operations. Based in Seberang Jaya, Penang, this full-time position is responsible for managing the procurement and purchasing functions to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, efficiency, and supplier reliability.
• Conduct supplier selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
• Responsible for the cost reduction initiatives through downgrading supplier levelling strategies and low-cost material alternatives planning, implement them as planned.
• Monitor local and international commodity markets, trade regulations, and price trends to support sourcing decisions.
