Job Description
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize costs, mitigate risks, and improve supply chain performance.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, select, and manage relationships with food suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Sourcing: Source high-quality food products, ingredients, and kitchen supplies from diverse channels (farmers, distributors, manufacturers).
- Inventory & Demand: Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all procured goods meet strict food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage the procurement budget, analyze costs, and identify opportunities for savings.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the purchasing team, overseeing daily activities and performance.
