Job Description
The Purchasing Intern will support his/her assigned department by performing a range of tasks, and gaining valuable hands-on experience in office administration.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying potential suppliers and assessing the dependability, affordability, and quality of each one.
- Inquire regarding equipment and roughing-in materials from existing suppliers that will be utilized for projects.
- Communicating with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, delivery costs and any modifications.
- Analyzing purchase expenses to find opportunities for savings.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases and prices.
- Recommending alternative suppliers or products when necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Taking up Office Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or any business course
- Computer Literate
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Pow...
