Purchasing Manager (Toronto)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies, and mentor and develop a team of Purchasing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
• Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers
• Oversee Logistics at a corporate level
• Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
• Foster supplier relationships and support current vendor development
• Oversee and support our purchasing staff

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills
• 3 - 10 years' of purchasing experience
• Proven people leader - ability to develop, train, mentor
• Ability to lead with numbers, metrics, KPIs
