Purchasing Officer

About the Opportunity

Nordon Cylinders is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our high performing team.

In this role you will work across business units providing overseas and local purchasing services to ensure approved orders are supplied in accordance with agreed terms.

Your Tasks

• Assist to make the optimum decision on routine stock orders.
• Recommending purchasing quantities for stock replenishment.
• Monitoring the progress of orders, investigate problems and update the planned receipt dates in the system.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders based on agreed replenishment levels and non-routine Purchase Orders.
• Review replenishment reports and make recommendations.
• Create advanced shipment Notifications (ASNs).
• Confirm invoices match POs prior to receipt of goods.
