About the role

This is a contract role for a Purchasing - Overseas position based in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. As a member of the Purchasing team at MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD, you will be responsible for handling the company's overseas procurement needs to support its manufacturing, transport and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Sourcing and negotiating with overseas suppliers to obtain the best commercial terms for the company
2. Preparing purchase orders, contracts and other procurement-related documentation
3. Monitoring order fulfilment and shipment of goods from overseas suppliers
4. Resolving any issues or discrepancies with overseas orders and liaising with suppliers
5. Maintaining accurate records and inventory data for all overseas procurement activities
6. Providing timely reports and updates on the status of overseas purchasing to management
