Purchasing Specialist

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing supplier relationships and executing tactical purchasing strategies in alignment with Supplier Management Procedures. The role supports EDC’s Supply Chain operations through onboarding of new suppliers, supplier performance analysis and financial reporting. Key stakeholders include operational teams, suppliers, business units, and packaging engineering teams.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Oversee the full procurement cycle from order placement to delivery, invoicing, and financial reporting
+ Manage supplier onboarding and participate in the evaluation (SCAR, periodic evaluation,...) and end-to-end performance
+ Forecast purchasing needs based on historical data and business plans
+ Ensure all activities comply with internal and external quality, environmental, safety, and health guidelines
