Job Description – (Construction)

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, equipment, tools, and subcontracted services in accordance with company standards on quality, cost, and project timelines. The role ensures the timely availability of materials to support construction operations while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers of construction materials, equipment, tools, and services.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency and project deadlines.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related procurement documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and in correct quantities. ...
