Purchasing Supervisor

What you'll be doing

• Supervises daily procurement and purchasing operations
• Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating agreements
• Implements strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume availability and pricing
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.
• Lead and supervise purchasing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to purchasing assistants to ensure productivity and teamwork.
