QA Engineer - Automation + Manual (Payments)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a European FinTech operating in payments and crypto purchase/sale . They’re looking for a QA Engineer who can build an automation capability largely from scratch , while still being comfortable with some manual/exploratory testing when needed.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain automation tests (mostly Python )
• Partner with developers to improve testability and prevent regressions
• Help define and evolve QA strategy (risk-based testing, release confidence)
• Support exploratory/manual testing when required

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automation testing experience
• Solid Python skills (or strong willingness to adopt Python quickly)
• Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Pytest, or Playwright
• Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI tooling
