QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA/QC inspection activities for steel products (forgings, flanges, fittings, plates, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASTM International, American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and ISO requirements
• Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and material traceability records
• Monitor incoming raw materials inspection (chemical composition, mechanical properties)
• Oversee dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing (UT, MT, PT, RT)
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate third-party inspections and customer audits
• Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment
• Train and guide QA inspectors and technicians
• Prepare quality reports and support documentation for shipment
