Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer – Solar is responsible for ensuring that all solar PV project activities comply with approved quality standards, technical specifications, drawings, and applicable codes. The role focuses on quality planning, inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement throughout project execution from material delivery to installation, testing, and commissioning.
The QA/QC Engineer works closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure that quality issues are identified early and corrective actions are properly implemented to achieve safe, efficient, and compliant solar installations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Planning & Documentation
- Prepare, review, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) for solar PV projects.
- Ensure compliance with IEC standards, Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), NEC (if applicable), ISO standards, and client specifications.
