qa/qc engineer

Work under direct supervision of the Project Manager and Planning Manager, responsible for conducting internal quality audits, Surveillance activities, supplier survey and vendor qualification, the evaluation of the same, and for development of quality related procedures and systems of the project operations.

• Prepare audits checklist, plans and schedule internal audits.
• Recommends corrective and preventives actions for non-conformities, as necessary.
• Consolidates weekly and monthly quality management reports.
• Review contract specification, instruction and project procedures generated by the section and other department to evaluate acceptability of the same in relation to project quality requirements.
• Review purchase requisition to ensure that material requirement and/or specifications are incorporated at the quotation stage up to placing orders.
