Job Description

Operate QC for discharging and loading of containers on vessel, in accordance with safe operating procedures, performance targets and standards.

• Position the crane safely alongside the vessel near the required hatch/bay as per the vessel

Supervisor’s / vessel hatch man’s instructions and in accordance with the crane program.

• Lower the boom of the crane, come back to the operator’s cabin, hoist down the spreader and

• Ensure not to handle container prior unlashing & twist‑locks unlocking is completed.
• Ensure the lashers are in a safe position whilst discharging / loading operation is in progress.
• Take all safety precaution needed when lifting hatch cover from / to vessel.
• Ensure that crane is secured, properly parked and anchors are dropped down during high wind.
