Duties and Responsibilities:

I. In-Process Quality Control Operations

• Supervise and coordinate all IPQC inspectors across all shifts.
• Ensure proper execution of in-process inspections such as first-piece approval, hourly/dimensional checks, visual inspection, and functional tests.
• Verify that inspection plans, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed strictly.
• Monitor and enforce the use of correct gauges, measurement systems, and inspection methods.
• Validate and approve start-up samples before mass production (first article inspection).

Nonconformance Management

• Immediately contain and document product or process non-conformities.
• Lead root cause analysis (5-Why, Ishikawa) for in-process issues such as flash, short shot, warpage, blackine, and dimensional NG.
• Coordinate with Production for segregation, rework, or scrap control.
