Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Freelance QA/QC Engineer (Civil & Groundworks) to support a specialist subcontractor on a major data centre construction project in Helsinki. The role will focus on quality control and assurance across earthworks, foundations, concrete, drainage, external works, and associated civil packages, ensuring all works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, ITPs, and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage the subcontractor QA/QC processes in line with the main contractor's Project Quality Plan
Review, prepare, and manage ITPs, method statements, and inspection records for civil and groundwork activities
Carry out site inspections, witness tests, and verify works prior to consultant/client inspections
Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved methodologies
Manage NCRs, snags, corrective and preventive actions, and close-out documentation
