QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT)

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Quality Assurance Specialist in the evaluation/audit areas to observe & determine quality of in-process and after-the-fact maintenance, ensure prescribed technical & management procedures are followed & quality maintenance is achieved; provide current local maintenance guidance to managers, supervisors & technicians; manage the unit Technical Order Distribution Office program & manage other quality assurance programs per applicable guidance. Responsibilities This is a developmental position with known promotion potential to the target position of Quality Assurance Specialist (Aircraft), GS-1910-11.
