Job Description

Summary You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (METROLOGY) in the METROLOGY OFFICE (136) of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will serve as quality assurance surveillance and quality assessment program manager of the Metrology and Calibration program. You will implement quality related policy established by higher authority. You will develop, plan and implement quality assurance projects of considerable breadth and complexity. You will perform evaluations and provide documentation to demonstrate calibration work performed by Navy subcontractors conforms to quality and technical requirements. You will provide training to shop personnel on quality related matters. You will lead failure analysis team investigations to determine the root cause of significant quality problems and to prescribe appropriate preventative actions.
