Quality Control Specialist (Drone Data & LiDAR)

Role Overview:
 The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the final technical review of all aerial data. This role ensures that RGB imagery, LiDAR scans, and derived products meet rigorous accuracy standards before being submitted to client-specific tools and portals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Verification:
   Review high-resolution drone imagery and LiDAR point clouds (LAS, LAZ, RCS) for clarity, coverage, and overlap.
• Accuracy Assessment:
   Validate data integrity using RTK/PPK corrections and Propeller AeroPoint 2.1 Ground Control data to ensure sub-centimeter precision.
• Anomaly Detection:
   Identify technical artifacts, data gaps, or environmental interference in point clouds and surface models (DEM, GeoTIFF).
• Deliverable Management:
   Prepare and format final topographic deliverables—including contours and spot elevations in SHP, DWG, or RVT formats.
