Job Description
1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The position of Quality Control Technologist involves the testing of spice blends according to the GLP's and releasing of job cards submitted, identifying non-conforming product and place the batches on hold.
Testing and laboratory requirements
Obtain the specification from Digiworks and test all blended batches as per the routine QC checks to methods documented in the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) file/ or as per Digiworks database. (Tests include pH; SO2; Salt; Bulk Density; Free Flow; particle size, moisture analysis, mince test, sodium).
Online Requirements
Conduct online checks in the Packing Department on all packed items according to the GLP's set out to ensure consumer received good quality products.
Effective Communication
Report on non-conforming batches and non-adherence to GMP's.
