A well-established butchery based in Lansdowne, Cape Town is seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Controller to join its production team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure full compliance with food legislation, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce QC SOPs throughout production.
- Maintain and update QC documentation and thorough record-keeping.
- Conduct routine inspections, checks, and product testing in line with FSSC 22000 and other food safety protocols.
- Identify and resolve quality issues through effective problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent product standards and improve processes.
- Provide training and guidance to junior QC staff.
- Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement programs.
