Quality Engineer

Meridian Business Support are recruiting on behalf of our client in Luton for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their Operations Quality team. This is a temporary role with strong likelihood of extension and an opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

The Role

Working within a regulated aerospace & defence environment, you'll act as a Quality focal point supporting in-service and returns material activities at IPT level.

Weekly structure:

• 2 days - MRB meetings: reviewing units, identifying risks, entering data into SAP, Matlab & Excel
• 1.5 days - Post-MRB investigations and documentation updates
• 1.5 days - Preparing for the next MRB cycle

Training can be provided on systems, but strong quality knowledge is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Quality Manager and Principal Quality Engineer
• Investigate non-conformances (root cause & corrective action)
