Quality Engineer I - Mainframe

Job Description

Perform hands on more complex testing activities: test design, test creation and/or process support within a well-defined functional area to support the delivery of quality solutions by designing and automating tests and/or creating/enhancing automation frameworks.

Accountabilities

• Hands on role focused on Mainframe and API testing. Mainframe testing (COBOL, DB2, IMS, CICS screens is a must) and API is good to have.
• As a Test engineer for small complexity initiatives, accountable for implementing effective test strategies and plans, test design / development test case automation and test execution to achieve business outcomes.
• Provides QE leadership, direction and feedback throughout the development and design process; provides test development / automation support to ensure that the quality of the intended solution is met.
