Job Description
Role Purpose
To support product and process quality through hands-on inspection, development part validation, metrology control, troubleshooting, and application of automotive core tools during development and manufacturing phases.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform and support development part inspections against drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
· Conduct and document Development Part Capability & Feasibility (CF) assessments in coordination with APQP and engineering teams.
· Support APQP and PPAP activities, including dimensional layouts and validation data.
· Handle, use, and verify inspection instruments and gauges in accordance with defined measurement standards.
· Manage and support instrument calibration activities, ensuring compliance with MSA and calibration systems.
· Support troubleshooting and diagnosis of product and process quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, RCA).
