Quality engineer

Responsibilities: Ensure that products shipped to customers meet all established specifications and requirements. Design, define, and improve inspection methods, testing procedures, and acceptance/rejection criteria. Develop and review quality assurance plans, sampling plans, and process control procedures. Generate and manage AQP/PPAP documentation for new product approvals or engineering changes. Coordinate and respond to customer complaints using methodologies such as 8 D. Conduct internal, process, and supplier audits, defining and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal and external calibration requirements for measuring equipment. Act as a liaison between departments to guarantee product quality throughout the production chain. Analyze rejects, non-conformities, and red-tag issues, generating improvement plans.
