Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with process parameters in the different areas through audits and by taking corrective actions jointly with area managers.
• Verify that manufactured products meet specifications to ensure the customer does not receive out-of-spec products.
• Act as leader in the coordination and preparation of 8D reports.
• Follow up on corrective actions on the shop floor until closure, originating from various sources such as: anomaly notices, 8D reports, client meeting minutes, internal/external audits, etc.
• Ensure all documentation generated on the shop floor as part of the Quality Management System is properly filled out and later handled according to retention periods.
• Ensure that internal and external customer complaints are communicated at all levels and across different processes to guarantee effective communication.
