We are seeking a qualified and experienced Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative) to join our client's team in Kariega.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative) will ensure that the Group adheres to the legal obligation to ensure product safety to avoid risks where possible.

Duties:

1. Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety. The target is complete implementation of actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures with the use of the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt).
2. Inspecting pre-series units in conjunction with other Q-type responsible PSB’s to expedite safety relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation.
