Quality Engineer (Quality Clinic Coordinator)

Overview

The primary purpose of the position is to provide plant-wide, hands-on technical assistance to the manufacturing and quality work centers and processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and process nonconformances, determine root causes with multifunctional team and guide them into the current process improvement.
• Responsible for trends monitoring and analysis in weekly and monthly QuC reviews (Scrap, IAR, detection, etc.).
• Relies on data to identify issues and measure progress. Should prioritize the collection and analysis of relevant data, using it to inform decision-making.
• Assign 8D’s based on the triage rule and monitors each 8D’s phase in accordance with the target times.
• Responsible for reporting scrap KPI with corporate.
• Prioritize improvement initiatives based on trends.
