Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer

Summary
Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing.

The primary responsibilities of an SMT Quality engineer include:

• Developing and implementing SMT process improvements
• Troubleshooting and resolving SMT process issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability
• Conducting process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) analysis
• Training and mentoring production staff on SMT processes and best practices - Strong understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly processes
• Knowledge of SMT equipment, such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systems
