Job Description

POSITION : Quality Inspector (Level 1): Afternoon Shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of S.P.C. i.e. Histograms, X and R charts, C.P.K. Must be able to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings in addition to GDT.
• Ability to read and understand company procedure manuals. Read the standards guide/manual to avoid production errors.
• Must be able to use measuring equipment effectively, micrometers, verniers, height and bore gauges, and weld gauges, surface testers and CMM. May measure or weigh products to assess conformity to quality standards.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and determine reasons for errors in products.
• Use technical skills and knowledge to identify cause of problem. Monitor operations to gather information to determine corrective action...
