About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Planning and Evaluation, Mental Health and Addictions, the Quality Management Coordinator (QMC) is Involved in activities related to planning, developing and delivering research and evaluation activities occurring in Mental Health and Addictions, Nova Scotia Health Authority

Specifically, the QMC initiates and supports evaluation and research into mental health and addictions through:

• The utilization of the mental health and addictions information management systems


• Coordinates and organizes program evaluations involving surveys, focus groups, and other data collection methods, or through research and evaluation initiatives taken on to explore promising areas of prevention or treatment for clients and families, often in collaboration with outside agencies such as Dalhousie University
