Quality Technician

About the company/role:
Our client is a well-known alcoholic beverage manufacturer based in Adelaide. They are seeking a Quality Technician to join their team in the laboratory. This role is full-time, rotating shift: 1 week day shift (7am-3pm) and 1 week afternoon shift (3pm-11pm). This role is for at least 3-6 months, which a strong possibility of extension beyond this.
 
Duties:

• Collection, storage and organisation of beer samples
• Microbial testing, plating and counting colonies on plates
• Preparation of media and buffers
• Data collation on Excel and presentation of results at meetings
• Titration and general wet chemistry
• Operation and calibration of laboratory equipment
• General maintenance of the laboratory environment

Skills/experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/ Microbiology or a related discipline
