**About the Role**:
Index Engineering is a global team responsible for developing and launching indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices. This role encompasses full lifecycle of index development and suits an individual who is highly analytical, creative and possesses an attention to detail. The key responsibilities include:
- Develop calculation prototypes and test cases for new indices.
- Perform test calculations and reconciliation of the results with clients.
- Analyze, develop, and implement indices onto our strategic python-based platform.
- Create and review index methodologies.
- Understand the industry & regulation; provide compliance guidance to clients.
- Support operation team in launching, ongoing delivery and overall quality of service.
