About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor at Leading Global Engineering Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for cost estimations, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. This full-time position is based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and managing project budgets
2. Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
3. Analysing project specifications and drawings to quantify materials and labour requirements
4. Monitoring project progress and identifying cost variances, providing recommendations to mitigate them
5. Preparing progress and final accounts, including valuations and variation orders
