About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor at Seng Yong Builders Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the Civil/Structural Engineering team. This full-time position is based in Perai, Penang and will involve managing the financial aspects of construction projects to ensure their successful delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and submit construction cost estimates, including material and labour costs.
• Review and analyze contract documents and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and process progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.

• Attend meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients, under supervision, to ensure consistency of tender and contract documents.

• Collaborating with the project management team to resolve any commercial issues
