Quantity Surveyor

Job Purpose

The Cost Estimator / QS ensures shop fitting projects are accurately costed, financially viable, and delivered within budget. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the project team from tender stage to final account. The position demands a solid understanding of joinery, fixtures, fittings, materials, finishes, and site installation processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimating & Tendering

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for retail fit-outs, refurbishments, and bespoke joinery projects.
• Interpret architectural drawings, design concepts, and technical specifications to develop cost breakdowns.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for internal and client purposes.
• Source competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in compiling tender submissions and proposals.
