Quantity Takeoff Specialist/Cost Estimator

Responsibilities

• Receive bid documents from customers and identify and extract drawing sheets and specifications that are relevant to the customer's scope
• Log incoming Tally jobs in our project management system and maintain accurate status entries over the course of each job
• Use a combination of Shape Exchange (our proprietary web application) and Bluebeam to mark up bid documents to extract quantities based on the customer's scope of work
• Flag documentation discrepancies and omissions for customer review
• Prepare reports organized by building system or specification division
• Enter hours worked and tasks performed into our billing system to ensure accurate customer billing
• Perform additional data-entry tasks related to our quantity-takeoff service
