Quantum Optics Test Engineer

An opportunity has become available for a Quantum Optics Test Engineer to join a growing startup based in Jena.

As a Quantum Optics Test Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;

Create and build optical test setups+systems

Automate and develop optical tests (ideally in Python)

Assist production team in assembly and alignment of photon light sources

Optical characterisation 

To be considered for the Quantum Optics Test Engineer vacancy you must have:

MSc or PhD in Optics/Quantum/Photonics

Experience with Python for data analysis and automation

Experience with quantum light sources

Experience with entangled photon paired sources

Experience aligning optical systems and photonic light sources

Optical System Characterisation experience (ideally with QKDs)
