Responsibilities:
Component sourcing, selection & standardization for the particular technology field.
As a member of the development project team for product design.
Design and develop solutions applied onto components in air conditioner / IEQ products which is providing better/optimized performance for the fulfilment of :-
-New product features
-Higher / New regulations requirement
-Customer needs
-Application scope
-Quality improvement
To liaise with suppliers on components or part sourcing & qualify new parts and suppliers.
To gather, compile and supply technical information on component.
To conduct study/data analysis for next innovative technology in applying onto air conditioner product governed with appropriate technology roadmap.
To collaborate with respective parties such as suppliers and university bodies on study/proposal of new innovative technologies.
To play active roles in sourcing and evaluating component vendors / suppliers.
