BC Cancer Victoria Radiation Oncology Department is seeking a full-time staff Radiation Oncologist to work within the provincial Radiation Therapy program. The Oncologist will join a current complement of 22 Radiation Oncologists, two General Practitioner in Oncology and two Nurse Practitioner. BC Cancer Victoria is a medium-sized, academic cancer centre, servicing Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. BC Cancer Victoria has 6 Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, one with high resolution multi-leaf collimation and two 6 degrees of freedom couch, a superficial unit, 2 CT simulators, and a diagnostic CT-PET. We have well-established programs in prostate and gynecologic brachytherapy and a growing stereotactic program that treats almost all anatomic sites.
