Radiation Therapist Lead - Radiation Oncology

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


+ Assist in the day to day function of the radiation therapy department by supporting clinical staff in improving patient care, troubleshooting issues and collaborating with other cancer center departments to address patient care needs.

+ Assist with direct patient care, including treatment, delivery and simulations.

+ Monitors and provides feedback to employees regarding productivity, teamwork, and patient care skills.

+ Serves as a patient care liaison between clinical departments within and outside of the Cancer Center.

+ Ensures proper staffing and coverage for the radiation therapists and dosimetrist.

+ Serves as a resource to track quality measures and assist in the preauthorization and billing process.

+ Helps track and develop PI projects related to radiation oncology.
