JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performing diagnostic imaging and preparing patient for their procedure
• Evaluate patients' medical conditions and history to determine the most suitable radiographic technique for diagnosis
• Correctly position patients prior to X-ray imaging in order to obtain high quality films
• Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional, in proper working order and operate efficiently
• Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
• Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation
